Background

Of Corellian descent, and once a prominent Lieutenant for an Imperial breakaway faction, Alvis Farbauti took his name from one of the more ancient tongues of the galaxy.  He graduated with Honors at the faction's Military Academy, and became the Commanding Officer's right-hand-man.  He is well trained and disciplined in Command roles, as well as Tactics and Resource Management.  In addition, Alvis is quite apt at spacecraft design, and the design/application of new technologies, having been personally tutored by this Commanding Officer.  While the identity and location of the faction he hails from is a closely-guarded secret, it is rumored that the faction still exists, in some of the wilder regions of the Galaxy.

Personality

Alvis could be described as a soft-spoken, kind, and caring individual.  He has deep compassion for the underdog, a staunch loyalty to his former Commander, and is an ardent patriot of his home planet of Corellia. Such a kind and gentle individual is rare in the Galaxy today, but when it comes to his duties as a soldier and an Officer, his skill, cunning and precision are second to none.

Alvis' outward demeanor is usually very quiet and humble, despite the talents that lie behind his calm eyes.  To many that meet him for the first time, he even seems shy and withdrawn.  As with all creative scientific minds, Alvis can sometimes immerse himself in his work, and become nearly obsessive when working on a project, or when carrying out a mission for his superiors.  Despite being as good-natured as he is eclectic, Alvis will not hesitate to bring swift justice (with unmatched efficiency), to anyone who would bring suffering or dishonor to those whom he gives his loyalty.

In his words, he "leads the life of a warrior-poet, seeking enlightenment and upholding honor."
